Ron has a long and extensive history in property investing, purchasing his first rental property in 1984. Since then he has negotiated up to $50 million worth of property transactions so has learnt a thing or to about negotiating a good deal. Ron’s career in property started in 1978 as a Valuer’s Cadet for The Valuation Department. Once qualified he moved into commercial property management for AMP and then into a private property development company. |

In 1985 he started his own commercial painting business and this grew into a one-stop shop building industry business including house building, electrical services, kitchens and stair manufacturing, aluminium window fabrication and, of course, painting. At the peak of the business Ron employed some 50 staff. |

In 1997 he moved back into the property industry, firstly, providing only financial and residential property investment advice and later marketing residential and commercial real estate, including managing the commercial and property investment divisions of one of Wellington’s largest real estate companies. |

Ron is married to Misty, a teacher at Trentham Primary School, and is father to three beautiful daughters and Grandpa to three gorgeous little granddaughters. He loves spending time with his family and friends and enjoys water sports including swimming, water-skiing, jet-skiing and water polo. |
